Latin America's Top Interactive Story Games on Android: Q4 2020 Report

Interactive story games have been a popular choice for mobile gamers, and the fourth quarter of 2020 was no exception in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides insight into how these games performed on the Android platform during this period.

Episode - Choose Your Story saw a decrease in downloads from nearly 980K in late September to around 430K by the end of December. Weekly active users also declined from 1.6M to just over 1.1M, while revenue peaked in mid-October at approximately 16K USD before falling to around 9K USD in the final week of December.

Crazy Maple Studio Dev's Chapters: Interactive Stories experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at roughly 189K and ending the quarter with about 133K. The game's weekly active users dropped from over 600K to around 544K, but revenue showed a positive trend, rising from 36K USD to 56K USD towards the end of the quarter.

Gameloft SE's Journeys: Romance Stories demonstrated a mixed performance. Downloads hit a high of 86K in late October before settling at 82K in the last week of December. The game's weekly active users peaked in early November at 343K and ended at 318K. Revenue saw a decline, starting at approximately 10K USD and decreasing to around 5.5K USD by year-end.

PuffballsUnited's Infiltrating the Airship had zero revenue throughout the quarter, but downloads showed a significant spike in mid-October at 190K, eventually decreasing to 33K. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a peak of 254K and a drop to 65K by the end of December.

Lastly, My Story: Choose Your Own Path by NANOBIT saw downloads begin at 82K and rise to 66K, with weekly active users starting at 295K and increasing to 227K. Revenue was modest, beginning at 6K USD and ending the quarter at 4.6K USD.
